OUR APPRoaCH
Our focus is on indigenous tree species, which are rapidly disappearing as communities prioritize commercial tree species for their livelihoods.

In addition to our conservation efforts, we engage with local schools to educate students about the perils of environmental degradation and how we can heal our planet and counteract the effects of climate change. We provide students with fruit and tree seedlings to cultivate and nurture at home, fostering a sense of responsibility for the environment from a young age.
ABOUT US
The idea started in memory of my father, who from a young age taught us the importance of nature and green spaces. I remember how he used to restore and nurture trees, especially native and fruit trees around our home. I wanted to do something that would honor his life, and make the world a slightly better place at the same time.

The team has grown to involve people from different walks of life, brought together by our mutual love for the environment. We all want to be the change we want to see, and Apollo Forests gives us that opportunity.
“Until you dig a hole, you plant a tree, you water it and make it survive, you haven't done a thing”
- Wangari Maathai, Kenyan Environmental Activist.
